At La Voz de Noah Foundation, our mission is to empower women in vulnerable sectors across the Dominican Republic, particularly those working in the tourism industry. The situation for women in these sectors presents a troubling paradox. While their work is not prohibited by the constitution, they often find themselves marginalized and voiceless. Despite their legal standing, these women face significant barriers, including limited access to banking, healthcare, and retirement benefits. It is time to shine a light on their struggles, advocate for their rights, and work toward a society where all women are treated with dignity and respect.
Our Vision
At La Voz de Noah, our vision is to transform lives. We focus on the overall well-being, empowerment, and emotional health of each woman who connects with our foundation. We believe that, although external circumstances can be difficult, every woman has the right and the opportunity to rediscover her values and strengthen her voice. We are here to provide the tools that allow each woman to regain control of her life and future.
Psychoeducation and Emotional Support
Psychoeducation and Emotional Support offers workshops, seminars,and individual sessions to help women build emotional resilience, manage stress and anxiety, and establish healthy boundaries in their personal and professional lives.
Health and Wellness Resources
Health and Wellness Resources provide access to physical and mental health services, including regular check-ups, therapy, and stress management programs, to ensure women have the support needed for overall well-being.
Access to Banking
Access to Banking enables sex workers to open bank accounts, facilitating secure and private transactions, promoting financial stability, and empowering them to manage their earnings safely.
